Low Carbohydrate Day – No Training Today

5:15 am

  • 4 Magnum Big C Capsules
  • 4 Magnum Thrust
  • 2 Magnum Heat caps
  • 4 oz of black coffee

5:45 am – I rode stationary bike for 45 minutes

Meal 1 – 8:30 am

  • 3.4 oz oatmeal
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 8 oz of egg white
  • ½ apple
  • 30 g Magnum Quattro Protein Powder
  • 1 Heaping scoop of Magnum Performance Edge
  • 1 Magnum Loaded + 1 g Vit C

Abstract

Obesity and type 2 diabetes are occurring at epidemic rates in the United States and many parts of the world. The “obesity epidemic” appears to have emerged largely from changes in our diet and reduced physical activity. An important but not well-appreciated dietary change has been the substantial increase in the amount of dietary fructose consumption from high intake of sucrose and high fructose corn syrup, a common sweetener used in the food industry. Medium Carbohydrate Day – I trained chest, front & side delts. I was suppose to have a High Carbohydrate day today but I have not been feeling as “receptive” as normal to carbohydrates – I believe this is due to over-eating (I’ve been stuffing myself on High Carbohydrate days as of recently). So, as it stands, I’m probably going to resort to just 1 high day per week for now.

6:45 am

  • 4 oz coffee
  • 2 Magnum Heat Capsules
  • 8 g Ultimate Nutrition BCAA powder

7:10 am – Rode the bike for 30 mins (performed four 1-minute high intensity intervals for a change rather then performing my usual steady state aerobic activity – not to mention that I was in a rush to get to an appointment).

7:40 am

8:20 am – I went for a 50 minutes walk and then did abs

Meal 1 – 9:55 am

  • 4.0 oz oatmeal
  • 175 low fat natural plain yogurt
  • 1 whole egg
  • 10 oz of egg white
  • ½ banana
  • 20 g Magnum Quattro Protein Powder
  • 1 Heaping scoop of Magnum Performance Edge
  • 1 Magnum Loaded + 1 g Vit C
